Lisa is the founder of thesupercurious, a boutique media agency that offers storytelling and strategy services to the world’s change-makers. Put simply, Lisa helps leaders reach broader audiences and build vibrant communities.
Currently, Lisa is the Executive Editor and Chief Storyteller of Measure What Matters, working alongside legendary venture capitalist John Doerr and co-founder Ryan Panchadsaram, Kleiner Perkins advisor and former White House Deputy CTO. Together they provide leadership advisory services based on the bestselling book and through their website, whatmatters.com.
Because industry and every idea needs good stories, Lisa’s clients range from Las Vegas music festivals to global education NGOs, as well as sustainable consumer package goods makers, direct to consumer retail giants, deep tech startups, and leading scientific and academic institutions.
As former Managing Editor of TEDMED, Lisa became especially dedicated to working with scientists and technologists. From 2011 to 2013 she led speaker selection, coaching, and stage production for their annual conference and global broadcast.
In 2013, Zappos CEO Tony Hsieh recruited Lisa from TEDMED to the Downtown Project. As their ‘Magical Awesomeness Catalyst’, her mission was to bring diverse communities closer together through original programming. At Inspire Theater and the Life is Beautiful festival, she curated a fresh mix of ideas and entertainment featuring locals and luminaries from Penn & Teller to Pussy Riot.
The fresh, innovative programs she has produced have generated tens of millions of views. She remains a popular speaker, educator, and advisor to conferences around the world.
Lisa holds a degree in music from Yale University. She and her beloved beagle mix, Roscoe, are based in New York City.
